2 ½ cups water

1/8 teaspoon saffron strands

One teaspoon rose water

Method

Bring water to boil in a saucepan. Once the water starts to boil, add the ground coffee. Boil the coffee for eight to ten minutes. Now, add cloves and crushed cardamom. Stir it well and cook for ten more minutes. Turn off the flame and cover the coffee with a lid. Let it sit for five minutes. Rosewater and saffron are optional as these two lend a rich aroma.
